The daily routine of having to wait under the scorching sun for the commute to work, the pain-staking traffic of EDSA, the never-ending overtime of your terror boss, the unforgiving deadlines would all accumulate and by the end of the week; would leave you drained of all life and energy. Deep inside you would wish that there was someplace tranquil and peaceful wherein you could revitalize and be ready for the stress the upcoming week has to offer.
One hidden gem located inside the heart of Tagaytay is AOZORA restaurant. The restaurant employs a minimalist philosophy and projects a ZEN design. It maximizes the use of natural light and space to form an art sure to make everyone feel at ease from the moment they step in. AOZORA is a Japanese restaurant which boasts an amazing view of the splendor of Tagaytay. You can enjoy the view whilst eating authentic Japanese staple dishes such as sushi, sashimi, katsu dishes, teriyaki, yakiniku and other rice toppings. There are also some Japanese-Filipino fusion dishes that you may try such as their best selling Ramen-Bulalo, pair it with my personal favorite the Dragon Maki roll and surely you will ascend into umami heaven.
The food is quite good. Serving size and pricing are just right. Perfect for dates, family dining, group outings, special events like weddings and birthdays, or just being alone with your favorite book and wine.
Aozora Japanese Restaurant now has (2) branches and both branches are open daily from 9:00am to 10:00pm
