One of the best places to visit in Tarlac – Goshen Resort. A place where you can feel the real ambiance of Rome.
Commute: Three hours away from Manila.
Private car: Two and a half hours travel time.
How to get there?
If you’re coming from Manila, ride a bus that is northbound – bus fare is ₱137 ( Tarlac, Dagupan, Angeles, Mariveles signage) drop off to Dau Terminal.
Once at Dau terminal, walk along Mc Arthur highway and ride a jeep going to Bambam (Fare ₱20), tell the jeepney driver to drop you to Goshen or Barangay Lourdes, Bamban. From Bamban, ride a tricycle going to Goshen (Fare ₱70), Tell the driver to drop you at the Resort’s front desk.
Goshen Resort was inspired by the Colosseum in Rome. As you enter the resort, the huge “Dambana ni Yahweh”, will catch your attention.
About the resort:
NO CORKAGE FEE, you can bring your own food but you cannot cook inside the room. You’ll need to pay extra charges if you want to cook. As I remembered, my Aunt paid 200 pesos for the cooking fee.

200 for kids 3 years old above and FREE for 3 years old below.

Day swim: 9am to 4pm
Night swim: 5pm to 10pm

Accommodation
We didn’t get a chance to take a photo of their rooms because all the rooms are fully occupied.
But we took the Dormitory room which cost 4,000 per night and is good for 8 persons. If you’re going there with your friends DM1 (Dormitory 1) is good enough for 8 pax, the DM1 is small type of room that have bunk beds inside. Also, you can use their table outside for your packed-lunch or dinner.

While enjoying the pool view, you can order beer and liquors at the Bar section. They have so many shows to watch while chilling.
One good thing about this resort is they recently opened a new cafe. The cafe is so nice, the interiors are almost the same with the restaurants in Rome and even the music matches the venue. Its very relaxing. The cafe sells a lot of choices. One of my favorite drink is frappuccino, their best seller is the “Dark Macadamia” and if you get hungry they offer food as well.
Just like a normal cafe, they also have their own customized cup, tumbler, planner and many more from the souvenir shop. The products does not look cheap, and looks like its made from quality materials, hindi yung mukhang heat and press lang.
They put too much effort in designing the cafe. I really enjoyed my stay! Seriously; when I entered the garden from the Front desk, I was amazed by the beautiful garden with statues. The sculptures of the ancient Roman gladiators and goddesses were breathtaking. Everything is such a pleasing sight and is insta-worthy.
The staffs are very accommodating and they always approach you when you have questions, they always answer with a smile on their face.
For a day tour travel you can spend more or less ₱800. (Round trip). But I would suggest you to bring extra money for the additional expenses such as food, drinks..etc. Pagalingan lang sa pag awra para ma-achieve ang perfect feed on Instagram. Hope these simple tips can help you. Enjoy your stay!
